Curtis Campbell
Curtis Campbell is an award-winning novelist and playwright.
His book ‘Dragging Mason County’ was a White Raven Award winner, a White Pine Award nominee, and was shortlisted for the
Jacqueline Woodson Award for LGBTQ+ Young Adult and Children’s Literature. He co-wrote the play ‘Gay For Pay with Blake & Clay’, which won the inaugural Second City Award for Outstanding Comedy. It recieved a Dora Award nomination for Outstanding New Play, and was published alongside its follow up, ‘Blake & Clay’s Gay Agenda.’ His second novel, ‘Lying Stealing and Other Ways to Save the Planet,’ was recently published by Annick Press.
Curtis has over ten years of experience working in arts marketing and nonprofit sales, and teaches comedy writing at Bad Dog Theatre.
Ethan Resendes
Ethan Resendes is a sketch comedian, clown, writer and one half of the award winning comedy duo Joy Provision. He has had the pleasure of strutting his stuff at TO Sketchfest (Producers Pick 2022), Montreal SketchFest (Best of Fest 2022- 2024), Philly Sketchfest, Ladyfest, and DC Improv.
Ethan has also had the pleasure of performing as part of PRIDECAB aat Buddies in Bad Times(2012) and directed Victims Of Influence for The Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Additionally, Ethan has a background in in Sales and Strategic Partnerships, where he mastered sales acumen and partnerships workflows making him a top performer. Most notably a Senior Most notably a Senior Strategic Partnerships Account Manager for TouchBistro where he drove pipeline growth through referral partnerships with food distributors (Shamrock Foods and Curtze Foodservice), consultants, and fintech (CHASE).
Rena Taylor
Rena Taylor is a writer, performer, educator, and facilitator who specializes in helping people think, communicate, and collaborate more effectively through humour and integrative problem solving.
An Ontario Certified Teacher with a background in Learning & Development, she has designed and facilitated bilingual professional learning for educators, corporate teams, and community organizations, most recently as Bilingual Programs Lead and Teacher Coach at i-Think. Her work draws on research in creativity, communication, and real-world problem solving to help people navigate complexity with curiosity and confidence.
As a performer, Rena has appeared at Just for Laughs, OFF-JFL, Pop Montreal, Ladyfest Montreal, and the Toronto and Montreal Sketchfests. She won the first Montreal Grand Stand-Up competition (2018), earned Producer’s Pick at Toronto Sketchfest with her sketch duo Joy Provision, and continues to create and perform comedy across North America. She believes the best ideas emerge when people feel safe enough to play, connect, and think differently.
